Who we are

TAALUMA is a NGO promoting a holistic approach to Learning and Education with a particular focus on their transformational, creative and emotional dimensions.

Taaluma was founded by Gisele, Diego and Miguel; three experienced trainers and facilitators with a large experience at international level.

Miguel

Miguel is an evaluator, trainer, e-learning facilitator and author coming from Spain and living in Germany. Since 1998 he works at international level for European institutions, Universities,  NGOs and private companies. He consider himself a "generalist" trainer particularly interested in long term processes of personal and professional development. He has a consistent experience in many fields but particularly in Citizenship, Social Inclusion - Employability, Human Rights, Training of Trainers and Intercultural Dialogue. After completing post graduate studies on Evaluation he is increasingly working in this field.

Gisele

Gisele works in the field of youth work and non formal education for about twenty years. Her path started in international youth exchanges and volunteering NGOs, though she little by little orientated herself towards working on the development of competencies and on Euro-Arab youth cooperation. Gisele is particularly interested in issues linked to personal and professional development, coaching, mentoring and intercultural dialogue. Lately, she got acquainted with different therapeutical approaches (Gestalt, Reiki, Kinesiology) and is about to start a training on Gestalt therapy. People remain her driving force and her every day source of inspiration.

Diego

Diego is from Spain, living in Murcia and working in the field of Non Formal Learning and Training since 2000. He is the chairman of an NGO called Euroaccion that works actively in the field of training at local and international level. He likes to work on topics such as social inclusion, human rights, creativity, social theatre and personal development activities and projects. He is member of the Pool of Trainers of CoE and SALTO and he is lately making his way through Gestalt therapy and other humanistic approaches for learning and self-awareness.

Noemie

Noémie gets most of her know-how out the Brussels, a multilingual city dense with energies and communities. The development of these has been a major driving factor in her studies (anthropology, society and environment) and work experiences. She widened her knowledge in Belfast towards youth participation as well as in Youth in Action and the Training of Trainer (2010). As a trainer she is most passionate about collective dynamics and citizens intelligence promoting non formal education and social justice. At the moment she finds herself on target for Transition and Permaculture initiatives as well as Dragon Dreaming.
